Hints For Preparing Your Quilt Topping and Backing for Quilting
Press your quilt top and backing well. Make sure to press the seams flat.
Cut all loose threads front and back. Dark threads will show thru on a light fabric.
The backing should be 6 inches wider and 6 inches longer than the quilt top.
Indicate the top side of the quilt by pinning a piece of paper marked "TOP".
The quilt top, backing, and batting should not be pinned or basted.
Please complete the "Work Order Form" in detail and enclose with the quilt.
You may bring your quilt to our studio 9am to 5pm Monday thru Friday except holidays.
If you are shipping your quilt, first place it in a plastic bag then put it in a box. This will give it added protection.
You may ship by U.S. Mail, UPS, or FedEx. Request a return receipt and remember to insure the quilt.
