Alice Prevost and Belinda Vazquez are partners in the operation of GiGi Quilt Design Studio. We have been providing longarm quilting services with Gammill equipment since 2000 at our location on Callaghan Road in San Antonio. At present we use a Gammill Quilting Machine Company Optimum Model which can easily handle material up to ten feet in width. Both Alice Prevost and Belinda Vazquez have completed extensive professional training in long arm machine quilting, including classes from Linda Taylor in Melissa, Texas and at the annual Machine Quilters Showcase in Springfield, Illinois. In recent years, their works have been presented at quilt shows in San Antonio, Dallas, Nashville, and Paducah, Kentucky.
Our studio is located in conjunction with the offices of Petry Travel Agency in the Grandview Shopping Center in Northwest San Antonio near the intersection of Callaghan Road and I-10. Quilting work is conducted in a separate room that houses our Gammill machine and other supporting equipment. This relationship with Petry Travel Agency provides an office location that is open daily 8-5 Monday through Friday where Alice Prevost can usually be found.
